Services for James Harvey Adams, 91, formerly of Clarkesville, will be scheduled for a future date to be announced.
Mr. Adams passed away peacefully Monday, April 20, 2020.
Born May 10, 1928, in Sautee Nacoochee, he was the son of the late Luther Adams and Lassie Welborn Adams. He has been residing in Daytona Beach, Florida, for the last five years. He was retired from the State of Georgia Agriculture Dept. with over 30 years of dedicated service. He was a long-time member of Ebenezer Methodist Church in Hollywood.
James is survived by children, Gail Adams Parker and husband, Glenn of Daytona Beach, Florida, Michael Adams of Cornelia, and Sheila Adams McCracken of Tampa, Florida; sister, Reba Childers; brother, Branson Adams; grandchildren, Daniel Gunn and wife, Jan, Cannie Adams, Kelsey McCracken, and Lannie Adams Holliday and husband, Ritchie; great-grandchildren, Celeste Gunn, Griffin Gunn, and Dexter Holliday.
