The family of James Robert Wells, 63, of Mt. Airy, will have a memorial service at a later date.
Mr. Wells passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at his residence.
Born Oct. 28, 1956, in Stephens County, he was a son of the late Jesse and Ruby Parker Wells. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Wayne Wells.
He lived in Stephens and Habersham Counties all his life. He worked in construction as a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Kayla Wells of Toccoa; grandchildren, Haley Costa, Cady Costa, Spencer Tomlin and Blake Tomlin; brother and sister-in-law, William and Judy Wells of Clarkesville; two nephews; and one niece.
