Funeral services for Janie Lee Cantrell Savage, 68, of Baldwin were held Saturday, Feb. 6, at Hillside Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.  

  Mrs. Savage passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021.

   Born May 2, 1952, in Royston. She was the daughter of the late Cora Lee Baty. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, David Savage Jr. 

   Mrs. Savage was a homemaker and had worked in several customer service-related fields. She attended The Torch.  

Survivors include her husband, David Savage of Baldwin; daughter, Donna Cantrell Shook of Mt. Airy; daughter-in-law, Lisa Perry (Scott) of Turtle Town, Tennessee; sister, Tammy Baty Walker (Kenny) of Rabun Gap; grandchildren, Adam Ivester (Catie) of Mt. Airy, Emilee Blackburn of Clarkesville, Candace Johnson (Barry) of Helen, Lacrecia Savage of Turtle Town, Tennessee, Hunter Perry of Turtle Town, Tennessee, and Destiney Perry of Turtle Town, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Kane Ivester, Cevyn Johnson and Raveynn Johnson; nephews, Leon Walker and Justin Walker, both of Rabun Gap; and a host of extended family and friends.
