A joint Celebration of Life will be held for Jerry Nicholas "Nick" Carroll, 56, of Demorest, and his father, Jerry, who recently passed, at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 6396 New Liberty Road, Clarkesville, with Pastor Ronnie Powell officiating.
Jerry passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
Born March 4, 1966, in Demorest, he was a son of Edith Hooper Carroll of Clarkesville and the late Jerry Lamar Carroll.
Nick was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather who was described by his family as very determined and hardworking. He was a carpenter by trade and in his spare time enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors, vegetable gardening, and going to flea markets.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife, Stephanie Moore Carroll of Westminster, South Carolina; son, Dalton Carroll of Westminster, South Carolina; daughter and fiancé, Logan Carroll (Alex Morgan) of Westminster, South Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, Terry Carroll (Kelly) of Clarkesville; brother, Daniel Carroll of Clarkesville; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy Yeadon (Chris) of Demorest; granddaughter, Carlye Carroll; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the service hour Saturday at the church.
