Celebration of life services for Jim Henry Simpson, 61, are being planned in Habersham County and Watertown, New York.
Mr. Simpson passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022.
Born Feb. 5, 1961, in Anderson, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Willie Elizabeth Bramlett Simpson and Herman Lee Simpson. In addition to heis parents, he was preceded in death by newborn twin brothers.
Jim served his working career in the U.S. Army. He was a Ranger and combat veteran and was a member of the 10th mountain division, 2nd Brigade 214 Infantry.
Survivors include his wife, Alicia Simpson of Clarkesville; and daughter, Ashley and grandsons, Landon and Preston, all of Watertown, New York; stepchildren, Zach Coley and Leah Thomas, Stephen and Silas, all of Clarkesville; sisters, Pam Lee and Rhonda Hogan, both of Demorest; many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and brothers in arms.
