Funeral services for Johnny Lee Gosnell, 39, of Cornelia, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with the Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating.
Mr. Gosnell passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022.
Born Aug. 15, 1982, in Habersham County, Mr. Gosnell was the son of Sandra King. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Gosnell; maternal grandfather, D.L. Rogers; uncle, Lefty Rogers; and stepfather, Johnny King.
Johnny was full of life. He was an avid airsoft player. He also enjoyed playing video games and working on computers. Johnny was a licensed locksmith and gunsmith. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and all-around friend. To know Johnny was to love Johnny.
Survivors include his mother, Sandra King of Cornelia; sister, Ivy Martin of Cornelia; brother, Anthony Gosnell of Toccoa; sons, Michael Gosnell and Logan Gosnell; daughter, Brianna Gosnell; his grandmother whom adored him, Thelma Rogers of Cornelia; aunt, Cherilyn Rogers of Cornelia; and uncle, Alex White of Cornelia.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at the funeral home prior to the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, North Chapel, Demorest.
