Private graveside services for Judy Ellison, 98, of Clarkesville, will be held at Clarkesville City Cemetery.
Ms. Ellison passed away Friday, May 14, 2021.
Born Aug. 19, 1922, in Stephens County, she was the daughter of the late George Matthew Ellison and Susie Trotter Ellison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rothell Ellison and Charles James "C.J." Ellison; sisters, Louise Callam, Catherine Logan, and Frances Burke.
Ms. Ellison was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Ms. Ellison was a retired receptionist with North Georgia Technical College with 40 years of dedicated service.
Survivors include her nieces and their husbands, Debbie and Jim Massey of Jasper, and Cathy and Mitchell Parker of Murrayville; great-nephew and his wife, Josh and Colleen Massey; and their daughter, Maggie Massey of Atlanta; great-nephew, Jeremy Massey of Atlanta.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request that memorial donations be made in Ms. Ellison's memory to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 624 Highway 197, Clarkesville, GA 30523.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, North Chapel, Demorest.
