A time of remembrance for Katherine Anderson, 89, of Clarkesville, with family and friends was held Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest.
Mrs. Anderson passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2019.
Born March 26, 1930, in Clarkesville, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Sylvia Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Anderson; three sons, Charles Anderson, David Anderson, and Earl Anderson; and several siblings.
Mrs. Anderson was retired from Fieldale with 45 years of loyal and dedicated service. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Penny Hallford of Blairsville; one brother, Charles Wilson of Iva, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Jason Anderson, John Henry Anderson, Dawn McEntire, Lee Anderson, Damien Anderson and Justin Anderson; 17 great-grandchildren.
