Funeral services for Katherine "Kat" Gosnell Colley, 89, of Toccoa, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Elrod officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Colley passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019.
Born May 10, 1930, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Lester Brady and Ester Lillie Gibson Gosnell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Colley; brother, Arvil Gosnell; and sister, Rosie G. Hubbard.
Mrs. Colley was a seamstress for Yonah Realty for 34 years, a security guard for Coats & Clark, and also worked at Pinline Garment Company. She was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Nina Weller of Toccoa; grandson, Jonathan Kinsey; great-grandchildren: Shelby, Christian and Courtney Stimmel, and Caleb Kinsey; and several nieces and nephews.
