Private graveside services for Kaye Nell Gaddis Purcell, 80, of Demorest, will be held at the VFW Memorial Park with the Rev. Rick Purcell officiating.
Mrs. Purcell went to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, following an extended illness.
Born July 4, 1940, in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Verdell and Braskie Gaddis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Riley Clinton (R.C.) Purcell; brothers, Jerry, Larry, and Donald Gaddis; and sister, Wilma Nix.
She was a member of the Double Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Purcell was retired from Scovill Mfg. with over 30 years of loyal and dedicated service.
Survivors include daughters, Debbie Purcell of Cornelia, and Rhonda Purcell of Demorest; sister, Faye Gaddis Smallwood of Homer; brothers, Michael Gaddis of Dahlonega, and Jack Gaddis of Demorest; and grandson, Oliver Howington of Demorest.
Arrangements are entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes, North Chapel, Demorest.
