A memorial service, with military honors, will be held for Larry Mitchell Shubert, 78, of Dawsonville, July 13, at 12:30 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
Mr. Shubert passed away June 13, 2021, at his home in Dawsonville.
Born March 29, 1943, in Habersham County, he was the son of the late William and Bonnie Shubert.
He joined the Air Force following graduation and lived in California, Colorado, Texas, and Georgia. After Larry got out of the military, he pursued a career in the Computer Engineering field.
Larry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marsha Shubert of Dawsonville; his son, Bryan Shubert (Debbie) of Jacksonville, Florida; daughters, Debbie Snedeker (Noel) of Niceville, Florida, Tonya Stanton (Keith) of Midlothian, Texas, and Tovie Duke (Johnny) of Monticello; grandchildren, Andrea Boring, Paige Dobbie (Taylor), Jarret Stanton, Regan Duke, and Hunter Duke; four great-grandchildren; his brother, Garry Shubert; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
