Visitation services for Lesa Deanne Cantrell Champion, 51, of Baldwin, were held Saturday, Dec. 21, at McGahee-Griffin and Stewart funeral home.
Mrs. Champion passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019.
Born July 10, 1968, in Demorest, she was the daughter of Hershel "Junior" Cantrell Jr. of Cornelia, and the late Leila Wilbanks McDowell.
Lesa was a loving mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a fun-loving personality and a smile that would light up a room and was affectionately known by her husband as "Ellie". Lesa was a member of Free Chapel and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Champion of Baldwin; son, Joshua L. Champion of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Kara and Lee Huntley IV of Oakwood; grandson, Lee Huntly V; father and spouse, Junior and Lynne Cantrell of Cornelia; brother, Greg Cantrell; and sister, Amy Cantrell.
