Graveside services for LeVon Williams Bridges, 75, of Clarkesville, were held Saturday, March 5, at Hillside Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Bridges passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022.
Born Dec. 23, 1946, in Chamblee, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Lee Williams and Ruby Lee Smith Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel Bickers and Brenda Vaughan.
LeVon retired from the Department of Public Safety and Georgia Bureau of Investigation with 28 years of dedicated service. In her spare time, she was an accomplished quilter and crocheter but most of all loved her family tremendously.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57½ years, Royce Eugene Bridges of Clarkesville; daughter, Rhonda Annette Bridges of Duluth; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie Daniel and Barbara Ann Bridges of Atlanta; granddaughter, Nicole Danielle Bridges of Thomson; sisters, Gayle Sims of Hampton, Patsy Vaughan of Griffin, and Pam Atkinson of Stockbridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
