Funeral services for Loretta Joan "Lou" Fry, 60, of Mt. Airy, are scheduled for 2 p./m. Friday Oct. 8, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with the Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Fry passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2021.
Born Nov. 10, 1960, in Gainesville, she was a daughter of the late Benton Fry and Doris Ann Scott.
Lou was an avid sports fan, always cheering for the Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Surviving are her brothers and sisters-in-law, Joel A. and Sherry Fry of Clarkesville, and James Scott and Jennifer Fry of Tucson, Arizona; sister and brother-in-law, Tara and Dustin Davey of Kennesaw; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
