Funeral services for Margie Loudermilk Nichols, 85, of Alpharetta, formerly of Mt. Airy, were held Saturday, Oct. 10, at Hillside Memorial Chapel and Gardens, Clarkesville.
Mrs. Nichols passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Nichols is the daughter of the late Daniel and Rosa LaCount Loudermilk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Garrison, Hillard, Homer, Russell, Haskell and James Loudermilk; sisters, Ellene Perry, Wilma Edmonds, Dorothy Lathan, Viola Williams and Eunice Smith.
Mrs. Nichols retired from Colonial Food Stores after many years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was an active member of Yaarab Shrine Temple Ladies Auxiliaries.
Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Grady Nichols; children, Terrill (Rhonda) Nichols of Alpharetta, and Renee (Steve) Baiocco of Johns Creek; grandchildren, Bridget Nichols (Tony) Atchison of Atlanta, Brandon Nichols of Alpharetta, Joey Baiocco of New York City, and Alex Baiocco of Washington, DC.; and several nieces and nephews.
