Graveside services for Marilyn Nierenberg Oaken, 87, of Clarkesville, were held Thursday, June 10, at Yonah View Cemetery in Cleveland.
Mrs. Oaken passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at her residence following a brief illness.
Born May 3, 1934, in New York, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Stanley Oaken.
She was a retired schoolteacher with the Dade County Public School System and moved here from Miami, Florida in 1996.
Surviving are her son, Louis Oaken; daughters, Marcia Oaken and Iris Joy Oaken Lara; and grandchildren, Lindsey Lara and Greg Lara.
