The family of Mary Anne Sigers Herrin, 79, of Cornelia, will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. Mrs. Herrin's wishes were to be cremated and no formal services will be held.
Mrs. Herrin went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 22, 2022 following an extended illness.
Mrs. Herrin was born Sept. 3, 1942 in Habersham County. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Talmadge Herrin.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Kurt Peterson of Morganton; daughter, Tanya Burkes of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amy Chambers, Harrison Wiggins, and Amber Uribe; great-grandchildren, Sadie Chambers, Archer Chambers, and Amelia Wiggins; brother, Max Sigers; and sister, Sue Davidson.
Arrangements are entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, Baldwin.
