A celebration of life for Norman Leroy Wilson, 76, of Mount Airy, will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, at his daughter's residence, 203 Fedora Drive, Mount Airy, GA. 30563 from 2 until 5 p.m.
Mr. Wilson passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022.
Born Aug. 16, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa, he was a son of the late Carl and Hazel Richards Smith. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Wilson; and by his sisters, Donna Coates and Pat Caffery.
Norman retired from Reynolds & Reynolds as a Customer Service Representative. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing basketball, bowling, dirt bike racing, and frequenting the Casinos.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lynn Marie Leach Wilson of Bullhead City, Arizona; daughters and sons-in-law, Alisa and David Guthrie of Mt. Airy, Krista Zappia of Tryon, North Carolina, and Trisha and Brad Lewis of Bozeman, Montana; brothers, Larry Wilson of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jerry Wilson of California; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mr. Wilson's wishes were to be cremated.
