Funeral service for Otis Parr, 63, of Clarkesville, was held Thursday, July 14, at New Vision Worship Center, Baldwin. The Rev. Scott Ledbetter and the Rev. Kyle Savage officiated. Burial followed in the Alto Congregational Holiness Church cemetery where the Rev. Mickey Umbehant officiated. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: David Fountain, Joe Gee, Joseph Mayes, Gary Turner, Jeff Turner, and Ricky Walden.

Mr. Parr passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at his home.

Born June 21, 1959, in Maysville, he was the son of the late George Otis Dalton and Cleo Parr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half-sister, Ann Dalton. He was raised in the home of Bobby and Brenda Barrett.

He worked as a truck driver for Lindsay Windows South. He was a member of Alto Congregational Holiness Church and attended Skitts Mountain Baptist Church.

He is survived by the family he was raised with: Bobby and Brenda Barrett; siblings, Kim Thompson, Keith Barrett (Linda), Tina Franklin (David), and Chris Brown; half-sister and half-brother, Louise Dalton and Richard Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
