Graveside services for Patsy Hensley, 92, of Demorest, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 at Yonah Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Grady Walden and the Rev. Curt Frederick officiating.
Mrs. Hensley passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022.
Born March 10, 1930, in Cisco, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Jewell McClellan Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Homer Lee Hensley; and her daughter, Vicki Bishop.
Mrs. Hensley was a member of Clarkesville Baptist Church, where she was a member of the church choir. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels and was also a member of the Habersham Senior Center. She was also active with Bible studies in the community. Patsy will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and soon to be great-grandmother.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Cathy Hensley of Lilburn; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel prior to the service.
