A funeral service for Patsy Lynn "Pat" Brock, 60, of Mt. Airy, was held Saturday, Sept. 21, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment followed in the family plot at Welcome Home Cemetery.
Ms. Brock passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019.
Born Dec. 30, 1958, in Demorest, she was a daughter of the late Fannie Bell Brock Pitts. In addition to her mother, Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Lela "LuLu" Pitts; and brother, David "Shine" Brock.
Pat worked with Fieldale Farms Corp. with 44 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed the simple things in life and would give a helping hand to anyone in need. Most of all, Pat enjoyed precious time with her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley Loudermilk Taylor, Lerlene "PIG" Dodd and Dewey Ridley, all of Mt. Airy; step-sister, Gertrude Rider of Baldwin; special sister and friend, Debbie Gonzalez of Mt. Airy; nephews, Bradley Loudermilk, Shane Pitts, David Brock and Jonathan Pitts, all of Mt. Airy; niece, Leta Lomax of Mt. Airy; great-nieces, Layleigh and Tylee; great-nephew, Tanner Loudermilk of Clarkesville; aunt, Imogene Brock of Baldwin; several cousins, extended relatives, a host of friends and her furbaby, Piper.
