Private graveside services for Robert E. "Bob" Bellamy, 85, of Baldwin, will be held at Baldwin City Cemetery with Pastor Saul McCoy and Mr. David Sanders officiating.
Mr. Bellamy passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021.
Born Aug. 1, 1936, in Homer, he was the son of the late Emmett P. Bellamy and Gladys McDuffie Bellamy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Payne Bellamy; a daughter, Terri Lynn Bellamy; sisters, Francine Ward, Ruth Barrett, Patsy Trotter and JoAnn Cocker; and brothers, Roger Bellamy, C.T. Bellamy and James Bellamy.
Mr. Bellamy was a member of Baldwin Baptist Church where he was part of the Claude's Sunday School Class. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Bellamy was self-employed in used automobile sales for many years.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tim Wilbanks of Commerce; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Debbie Bellamy of Baldwin; grandchildren and families, Zach and Brandy Wilbanks, Annabelle, Abram and Amelia, Matt and Brianna Wilbanks, Riley, Anna and Chyene, Terri Bellamy, Piper Frankum and Wyatt Frankum, Jacob and Cynthia Bellamy, and Andrew and Kelsey Bellamy; brother, Buck Bellamy of Mt. Airy; sister, Shirley Wilkinson of Cornelia; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Baldwin Baptist Church, 200 Shore Street, Baldwin, GA 30511, or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Avenue, Suite 1100 N., Bethesda, MD 20814.
