Memorial services for Stacy Kay Black, 53, of Gainesville, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest with Pastor Mike Franklin officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Miss Black went to be with the Lord Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, at the residence of her sister, Tammy Reid, following an extended illness. 

Born Aug. 30, 1967, in Atlanta, to Kay A. Black and the late Charles Don Black Sr. 

She was a special needs child. Miss Black was a member of The Torch, Demorest.

In addition to her mother, she was survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Tammy Black Reid and Charles of Sugar Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Don Black Jr.  and Rhonda of Winder; nephews, Charles Matthew Reid, Edwin Daniel Reid, Riley Hayes Black and Jared Harris Black; great-nephew, Gavyn Matthew Reid; and  great-niece, Savannah Lynn Reid.

The family will receive friends from 10 until 10:45 a.m.  Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Easterseals North Georgia, 53 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
