Funeral services for Steven Alan Ward, 44, of Clarkesville, were held Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Mr. Ward passed away Saturday, Dec.11, 2021.
Born Feb. 5, 1977, in Frankfurt, Germany, he was the son of Barbara Ward.
He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mr. Ward was serving as a Clarkesville city council member for four years and had been elected for his second term. Steven had worked with Pruitt Health Systems for 15 years.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara Ward of Clarkesville; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Fletcher Holliday of Demorest; niece and nephew, Hannah Holliday of Orlando, Florida; and Derek Holliday of Demorest.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel at 1370 Industrial Boulevard, Baldwin, Georgia 30511.
