A funeral service for Stewart Lloyd Young, 47, of Lakewood, Colorado, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home.
Mr. Young passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019.
Born July 4, 1972, in Vallejo, California and lived in Georgia for over 10 years, he was the son of Lance Edward Young and Cheryl Hermann.
Mr. Young was supervisor of Project Development and Installation for Network Applications at Cator Ruma Engineers. He was RCDD certified and could work domestically and internationally. Mr. Young was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his father, Lance Edward Young of Chandler, Texas; mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Dr. David Hermann of Cornelia; daughter, Jessica Ariel Young of Chino, California; son, Jayce David Young of Norco, California; and brother, Keith Young of Silsbee, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, it was Stewart's wish that donations be made in his memory to Operation Homefront, 1355 Central Parkway South, Suite 100, San Antonio, TX 78232 ,or to Shriners Hosptial for Children, Attention: Office of Development, 2900 North Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
