Funeral services for Thomas Ferrell "Tommy" Scott, 57, of Mt. Airy, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Chris Webb and the Rev. David Harbin officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Scott passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at his residence following an extended illness.
Born Oct. 14, 1963, in Demorest, he was the son of Mary Lee Garrett Scott and the late James Ferrell Scott.
Tommy worked as a contractor in the Industrial Heating and Air industry for over 20 years and in his spare time enjoyed mechanical work. He attended Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Lee Garrett Scott of Mt. Airy; uncles and aunts, James and Linda Garrett of Clarkesville, and Hillard and Patricia Garrett of Mt. Airy; aunts, Mildred Hinerman and Melody Hinerman, both of Orrville, Ohio; many cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the service hour Friday.
