Funeral services for Tim Holcomb, 67, of Demorest, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Brian James and Mr. Matt Holcomb officiating.
Mr. Holcomb passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2020.
Born May 6, 1953, in Gainesville, he was the son of Barbara Reed Holcomb of Cornelia, and the late Kenneth Holcomb.
Mr. Holcomb was a self-employed independent sales contractor and attended Level Grove Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer who also refereed basketball for the local recreation departments, high schools and some college for over 25 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially on trips to the beach.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Holcomb is also survived by his wife, Susan Hardy Holcomb of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Emily Holcomb of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Tom Jones of Alto; and niece, Rae Jones of Alto.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the funeral home.
