Two memorial services will be held in honor of former Cobb County Commission Chairman Tim Lee. The first service will be held Friday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Marietta, 56 Whitlock Ave. NW, Marietta, GA 30064, with visitation from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The second service will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, at 1 p.m. at Clarkesville First United Methodist Church, 1087 Washington St., Clarkesville, GA 30523, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Mr. Lee went peacefully to his Lord Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Douglas Howard Lee; and mother, Ruth Joyce Lee.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Annette; daughter, Angila Dixon and husband, Jeff Dixon; two sons, Paul Wilmot and Christian Lee; three brothers, Steven Otis Lee, Daniel (Mindy) Lee, and Sam Lee (Jennifer Hooker).
Tim never wavered in devotion to his family, community and God. He will be missed dearly by everyone whose lives he touched. After leaving Cobb County, Tim was associated with Habersham Partnership for Growth and Economic Development Council as their executive director.
