A private memorial service for Timothy Jackson "Chip" Gosnell, 59, of Clarkesville, will be held at a later date.
Mr. Gosnell passed away March 11, 2022.
Born June 11, 1962, in Rochester, Indiana, Chip was the son of the late Raymond D. and Laura Jane Morris Gosnell. In addition to his parents, Chip is preceded in death by five siblings.
Chip was a chicken grower for Fieldale Farms at Blue Creek Farm. He was an avid outdoorsman and a history buff. He enjoyed spending time combing through creek banks looking for Indian pottery and relics. Chip was a simple man who kept to himself. He liked to listen to music and have a good time and he enjoyed playing spades and poker.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Dills Gosnell of Clarkesville; sons, Ricky Lee Gosnell (fiancé Lisa Jenkins) of Westminster, South Carolina, Dennis Lee Kastner of Mt. Airy, and Daniel James Kastner (partner Chris Kirby) of Buford; daughter, Maleah Gosnell of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Ricky Lee Gosnell Jr., Gavin Jack Gosnell, Braylen Gosnell, and Justin Bryson; seven brothers; four sisters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
