Verna Sampson Davis, 95, of Gainesville, formerly of the Skylake Community passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 1p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with the Rev. Keith Windmiller. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, North Chapel, Demorest.
