Walter “Opossum” Garrett, 83, of Toccoa, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020 following a brief illness. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, Baldwin.
