Ok, I realize that we are all trying to cut costs and save a few dollars on whatever we need or are buying. I know it’s been really tough for all of us.
Whew, you go grocery shopping for the things you really need and oh my goodness gracious you have to be prepared for sticker shock. Now friends we’re not talking about buying a car we are talking about buying food. Who would have ever thought that eggs would be over $3 for a dozen?
If you go to several stores trying to find the best price, you are using high-priced gas in your car. I’m making two meals in one, preparing a little extra from one meal so I can use some of those leftovers in the next meal. Like cole slaw, as a side with our meat and veggies; then use the leftover slaw with hot dogs or burgers with the next meal.
If you put the slaw in a glass bowl and cover it tightly with plastic wrap, this keeps it from having a soured taste. We are also praying and trusting in God and his faithfulness. He’s never failed any of us yet. Love to all my dearest friends.
God bless you all and enjoy!
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. – Colossians 1:10-14
