To the editor:
On this wonderful, warm day, March 27, 2023, I decided to review the news, for current event happenings. I switched to MSNBC News, and was immediately hit with excited reports of another elementary school shooting that just occurred in Nashville, Tennessee! Amazing! Just a week before Easter, too! My, what an exciting country we live in.
I cannot help but ask, has anyone verified Georgia gun lover Gov. Kemp’s current location, this week? Has he been visiting Nashville with his firearm worshiping friends for a little “vacation?”
Or maybe he traveled there to meet up with some of his buddies, you know, the gun carrying and worshiping group of Trumpublican Congressmen and Senators.
Maybe they found something else to do with themselves when they could not get tickets to the Grand Ole Opry. Really, who knows what these dedicated, civic conscious, citizen-loving politicians will do these days to keep happy?
I am pretty sure they weren’t planning on sitting around their hotel rooms drafting new firearm safety laws for this country, were they?
