Tallulah Falls’ boys soccer team has been unchallenged so far this season, as the Indians netted a third straight win with a familiar 10-0 score. This time the victim was Banks County on a rainy and foggy Thursday night at Tallulah Falls.
The Indians ended the match with the 10th and final tally with nearly 30 minutes left on the clock.
It didn’t take long to get the offense going, as Austin Ball scored on an assist from Jake Hall a mere two minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Hall knocked home a PK for the 2-0 advantage. Ball then scored a few more times before the half, all within a span of about six minutes. Landon Hall, Jake Hall, and Jackson Cording all notched assists on those goals. Still before the break, Clay Kafsky took a Simeon Conjagic pass and scored from far out for the 6-0 lead.
Cording put one past the keeper two minutes into the second half to stretch the lead up to 7-0. Jake Hall then scored off a helper from Landon Hall, who also assisted on Cording’s goal. Landon Hall and Jared Mullis rounded out the scoring, and assists came from Jake Hall and Ball, respectively. Kelton Reynolds notched his third shutout, and had 3 saves in the match.
The Indians have now outscored opposing teams 30-0 across the three matches. TFS is 3-0 overall, and they returned to the pitch after press time Tuesday at home against Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy.
