Funeral services for Geralene Tomlin Hicks, 94, of Cleveland, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with the Rev. Austin Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Good News Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Hicks passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021.
Born April 27, 1927, in Cleveland, she was a daughter of the late Hoke Tomlin and Cora Lee Bowen Tomlin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hicks was also preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Charlie Price Hicks; brother, Lloyd Tomlin; and sister, Sylvia Ann Chastain.
Mrs. Hicks was a retired Poultry Farmer and a member of Good News Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mitcheal and Sandra Hicks of Cleveland; grandchildren, Allyson Jones (Steve), Brandon Hicks, and Heath Hicks, all of Cleveland, and Jared Hicks (Bea) of Dawsonville; great-grandchildren, Emilee Jones and Chase Hicks; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
