With a little more than three weeks until Habersham Central’s graduation ceremony, senior banners were being hung on the first day of May.
A chilly temperature on the first day of May led teachers and administrators to bundle up for the task. Starting their task at 9 a.m., the group began hanging all 484 banners with photos and names of the HCHS Class of 2023.
A sense of pride and excitement could be felt in the air as these adults were hanging the banners. Despite the cold wind and the bright sun, those hanging the banners all had smiles on their faces to celebrate the seniors.
Students, family and friends can look for the banners at the entrance of the high school, and they keep their banners after graduation.
