Facelift for Wood's Mercantile

Wood’s Mercantile in Clarkesville is working on a renovation facelift for their outside facade that will include a new logo and sign. “Since we bought the building in 2019, we felt the portico was a little dated,” owner Kevin Wood said. “We think the new look will uplift the whole downtown area of Clarkesville.” Wood said it may take most of the summer to finish the work.
