Raffle for $10K, dinner at Habersham Central

The Habersham Central High School Athletic Department is hosting its 9th annual raffle, steak dinner and silent auction. The event will be held Saturday, March 19, in the Habersham Central High School Cafeteria, doors open at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. Tickets are $100, which gets you one chance to win $10,000 and a dinner for two. Clarkesville Baptist Church Ladies Bible Study

The Clarkesville Baptist Church Ladies Bible Study will meet in the Family Life Center on Mondays from 1-3 p.m. March 7 through April 11. The study will be on the book “He Chose the Nails” by Max Lucado. Books are available in the church office. Call 706-754-2643 to sign up. Cost of the book is $16. All ladies are invited.

GriefShare meets every Wednesday

GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. The leadership team for GriefShare consists of people who understand how you feel and have a real concern for individuals experiencing the grief of loss. GriefShare leaders have experienced significant losses in their lives and are examples of the healing and restoration that can occur as an outgrowth of deep grief.

Clarkesville First United Methodist Church meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m.  All are welcome.

Foothills Photography Group monthly meeting

The Foothills Photography Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month in the Visual Arts Building at North Georgia Technical College. Meeting begins at 6:30 PM. The public is invited. Griefshare weekly support group available

Griefshare is a special free weekly seminar to the community.  It’s a support group designed to help you rebuild your life after losing a loved one. Christian Motorcyclist Association Chapter forming

A Christian Motorcyclist Association Chapter is forming in Clayton. All are welcome. Meetings are the third Thursday each month at Mama G’s, 444 US 441 S, Clayton. at 7 p.m. Come early for food and fellowship.

Parkinson’s Support Group

The Northeast Georgia Parkinson’s Support Group is designed to help Parkinson’s patients and their caregivers.
