Demorest moves precinct for May, June primaries

The Habersham County Board of Elections and Voter Registration is moving the location of the Demorest Precinct. The change will take place for the upcoming May 24 General Primary Election and the possible June 21 General Primary Runoff.

The Demorest Precinct will temporarily move back to the Demorest Fire Department in the City Council Meeting Room at 125 Ivy St., Demorest, Ga. 30535, due to the closing of the Concord Baptist Church, which was located at 250 Alabama Street, Demorest.

All voters located in the Demorest Precinct will receive new precinct cards with the new location and address. If you do not receive a new precinct card within the next couple of weeks, please contact the Elections and Voter Registration Office at 706-839-0170.
