Shaun McMillan, who may appear shaven and thinner than shown here, has been missing since March 28. His wife Danielle said he may be in Hart County with friends. DANIELLE MCMILLAN/Submitted
Danielle McMillan just wants her husband to get help, wherever he is.
Shaun Michael McMillan left his Clarkesville home March 28 and has not returned. He left behind his wife and four children, and he has not responded to her pleas for him to come home.
“He is schizophrenic and he has been off his meds,” Danielle said. “He has been prone to taking off and not coming home, but this is the longest he has been gone.”
Danielle said her husband’s blue Chrysler Pacifica wagon was seen in Hart County, but he was not found at the home where the car was. She said her husband has two drug charges pending against him and she fears that he still may be abusing and/or dealing drugs.
“I just want him to get caught or whatever just so he can get help,” Danielle said. “His whole family is worried about him. I want him to be able to get clean. We have been together seven years and he is my best friend. I am worried that he will overdose.”
Danielle said her husband’s phone is off and that he may be using an alternate cell phone.
“He doesn’t want us to find him right now,” she said, noting that she has been in contact with police, but all they can do is tell him she is looking for him unless he commits a crime. “I want them to search him if they find him. Even if they take him to jail, at least he is safe and he can get help.”
Danielle has asked that anyone with information about her husband’s whereabouts message her on Facebook at the page “Danielle Shaun McMillan.”
