Celebration for longtime pastor at Ebenezer
Ebenezer Community Baptist Church in Mt. Airy will celebrate the 32nd pastoral anniversary of Rev. Dr. Oliver Dorsey Sr. on Saturday and Sunday, March 26-27. The appreciation reception will be from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, and the Worship celebration is at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Brotherhood of Veterans & Patriots meeting
The Northeast Georgia Brotherhood of Veterans & Patriots will meet on Saturday, April 16, in the fellowship hall of Cornelia First Baptist Church. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 9 a.m. Ron McCants, the speaker, served in the Army as an infantry rifleman, point man and RTO. He has written a book entitled “Vignettes from Vietnam.” A complimentary breakfast will be provided by an anonymous donor. Social distancing will not be possible in the fellowship hall. GriefShare meets every Wednesday
GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. The leadership team for GriefShare consists of people who understand how you feel and have a real concern for individuals experiencing the grief of loss. GriefShare leaders have experienced significant losses in their lives and are examples of the healing and restoration that can occur as an outgrowth of deep grief.
