The Cornelia Three Arts Club will meet Thursday, April 7, at 4 p.m., in Scoggins Hall at First Presbyterian Church on Etta Street. The program will be presented by members of the Hemlock Gallery in Clarkesville.

Revival coming to Amy’s Creek Baptist

A revival will be held at Amy’s Creek Baptist Church in Clarkesville, April 11-14 at 7 p.m. each night. Rev. Truett Phillips and Rev. Chris Blocker are guest speakers. Everyone is welcome.

Revival set for Easter week

Macedonia Baptist Church, 6396 New Liberty Road in Clarkesville, is hosting a revival Monday through Wednesday, April 11-13 at 7 p.m. The Rev. Charles Holland will be bringing the message. We hope you will plan to come and receive a renewal of faith hearing his message.

Clarkesville Baptist Church Ladies Bible Study

The Clarkesville Baptist Church Ladies Bible Study will meet in the Family Life Center on Mondays from 1-3 p.m. through April 11. The study will be on the book “He Chose the Nails” by Max Lucado. Brotherhood of Veterans & Patriots meeting

The Northeast Georgia Brotherhood of Veterans & Patriots will meet on Saturday, April 16, in the fellowship hall of Cornelia First Baptist Church. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 9 a.m. Ron McCants, the speaker, served in the Army as an infantry rifleman, point man and RTO. He has written a book entitled “Vignettes from Vietnam.” A complimentary breakfast will be provided by an anonymous donor. Social distancing will not be possible in the fellowship hall. If you feel comfortable attending, please join us.

Mineral Society meeting set for April

Northeast Georgia Mineral Society meets the first Thursday of the month at Clarkesville United Community Bank at 6:30 p.m. On April 7, the scheduled program will be on dinosaurs by Athens professor Jim Maudsley of the Athens Rock Club. Professor Maudsley will also conduct one of the Peach State’s Archaeology Society’s shows on Native American prehistoric artifacts at Athens Regional Library at 2025 Baxter Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 4. GriefShare meets every Wednesday

GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. The leadership team for GriefShare consists of people who understand how you feel and have a real concern for individuals experiencing the grief of loss. GriefShare leaders have experienced significant losses in their lives and are examples of the healing and restoration that can occur as an outgrowth of deep grief.

Clarkesville First United Methodist Church meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m.  All are welcome.

Foothills Photography Group monthly meeting

The Foothills Photography Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month in the Visual Arts Building at North Georgia Technical College. Meeting begins at 6:30 PM. The public is invited.
