GBI investigates former assistant chief

By Hannah CaudellFormer Baldwin assistant police chief Justin Ferguson was charged with theft by taking and violation of oath of office, and was booked into the Habersham County Detention Center on the morning of April 24. He was released on a $4,000 bond.
