William Thomas 'Bill' Beahan

In consideration of COVID-19 there will be a private family service for William Thomas "Bill" Beahan, 67, of Clarkesville.

Mr. Beahan passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, due to complications from Covid19.

Born Aug. 31, 1953, in Hartford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Ernest and Catherine Hastings Beahan. 

He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church. Mr. Beahan graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He returned to Carnegie Mellon University to get his master’s degree in industrial administration, graduating in 1989 with honors. Mr. Beahan was employed by Habitat for Humanity at the time of his death as a computer systems analyst.

Suvivors include his fiance, Diane Tanner of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Mark Bailey of Rolesville, North Carolina; daughter, Heather Beahan of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Gary English of Suwanee, and Deborah and Matt Joris of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Dante Bailey and Damien Beahan; three nieces; three nephews; and 17 great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia, P.O. Box 982, Clarkesville, GA 30523-0017.
