Funeral services for Walter Lee Whiting, 91, of Demorest, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, July 19, from the Hillside Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth McEntire and Dr. Charles Holland officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest with the Rev.

Donnie Taylor, 60, of Demorest, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Collin Taylor, the Rev. Frank Wyatt, and the Rev. Bill Trotter will officiate.
