Habersham County has many unique aspects making it the best place in the world to raise and family and call home.
In this year’s edition of Hello Habersham magazine – found in today’s edition – we explore many of those aspects of life here in beautiful Northeast Georgia.
We lean on our many strengths, including our post-second education gems of North Georgia Tech and Piedmont University, our industries and our best leaders who have helped get our county to this point in time. And our local school systems, public and private offer great opportunities for our children
Highway 365 brought growth to Habersham, and it has had many effects on our way of life here. Hello Habersham highlights our daily endeavor to balance the quiet, small-town life with the possibilities of the future and what we can one day become. The importance is we protect the quality of like we all enjoy,
Hello Habersham contains all the information one would need to make our community their home. More than that, it puts on display the best of us and what we would want to see in the mirror when we look as a community.
The cover features our community’s own river. The Soque River is a true treasure. Being able to watch her gently ramble through Habersham before pouring into the Chattahoochee River off Pea Ridge is a soothing aspect of the great quality of life we all enjoy.
We’re proud to build from scratch a newspaper each week to serve the place we have called home for the last 131 years. However, when we can include a magazine like Hello Habersham celebrating our community it makes it an extra special edition.
