Believe in Christ, not Santa

To the editor:

The fact that Santa is not real is obvious. Santa could not deliver to every house in one night. Why then do we do this? Because it’s fun.

Christmas is not about fun, but about the birth of Christ Jesus, not fun. If Christmas is not about fun, and Santa is not real, then why do it?

Well, because it’s traditional. But traditional doesn’t mean right, just like fun does not mean right. Fun is OK, but you shouldn’t be dishonest about it.

So why don’t we stop believing in silliness? Stop believing in Santa and believe in Christ, how’s that?
