Carol Farmer: When does my road get fixed?

I for one am glad our county has gotten money for technology and such and it is necessary. But can you tell me why we cannot get our dirt road fixed?

I invite everyone to come out to 1940 Buckhorn Road and see the pipe under the road. Both sides have caved in and our school buses drive over it every day. If they meet a large tractor, they will have to be careful and not drop a tire in either washout.

If the bus flips, it will go over an embankment and hurt or kill our kids. I have complained and some rock was brought out years ago, but just come look. If the department doesn’t have the knowledge to fix this road then for God’s sake and our children’s sake, call the state engineer to come and fix it.
