Don’t take our trees

To the editor:

There is no point asking a question here as there cannot be an intelligent answer. The trees in the Walmart parking lot in Cornelia have all been cut down to the ground. The same trees I would sit under and rest after shopping. The same trees that afforded a bit of shade to any cars lucky enough to find a parking spot nearby. The same trees that improved the look of an ugly building. They are gone and it’s a shame. Truly sad and so ungreen!
