To the editor: In my review of local Atlanta news for upcoming weather, I have observed that our Gov. Brian Kemp’s recent pro-gun legislation is alive and well in Atlanta, and probably the rest of Georgia as well! Lots of shootings in Atlanta daily, probably by unregistered and unlicensed handguns. Those poor victims, males, females and children! You know that must make Gov. Kemp smile!
But, lo and behold, I have just noticed the recent activity in California! It makes one think that’s where Kemp came from! You can just bet that the guns used in those mass shootings and killings were also unregistered and unlicensed. Just imagine!
Over 20 people shot, and at least 11 killed! You know, I have just also heard that so far this year there have been over 30 mass shootings and killings like this so far in this country! And Lord, it is only January! Is it any wonder that there are many rumblings from concerned citizens for better and stronger firearms controls to be put in place?
But, don’t worry, Gov. Kemp, and all of your pro-gun owning and using friends. You and your politicos have complete control in Georgia and there will be no anti-Kemp gun legislation passed in this State-no matter what the average, safety-seeking citizenry call for!
Good for you, Governor Kemp!
Oh, by the way, would you mind sharing with us when, and by whom, the next “California” type incident you and your cronies have organized for Georgia will be?
